Field Set Up/Take Down Procedures

Field Duty - one hour before first Friday Night Game.  If no Friday night is played field set up is from 5-6:30 pm on Friday night.  (5U/6U/8U - Paint fields Friday Night, Set up Goals/Flags Saturday)


If you  are FIRST game of the day- Indicated by a Sun

(if away team is from another region, home team does all of the field set-up/take-down)

Both teams that have the first games will:
HOME TEAM will Paint the Field Friday evening one hour before the first Friday night game.  If first game is Saturday, field set up will be on Friday night between 5-6:30 pm.  AWAY TEAM will Set up the goals, place sandbags, corner and half-line flags on Friday night.

If you are the LAST game of the day- Indicated by a Clock
(if away team is from another region, home team does all of the field set-up/take-down)

Both teams with the last games of the day:
Both teams bring goals along with nets, sandbags and flags to the containers. Clean the trash around the fields.  
NETS STAY ON THE GOALS UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON.


Field set up for Lexington Park is done Saturday before the first game and only requires you to make sure the corner flags are put out. 
Field take down at Lexington Park is done after the last game and only requires you to make sure the corner flags are packed up.

Game Management

GAME Management for Lexington Jr HS

First games of the day are responsible for field setup on Friday night 5-6:30. Each team with the first game needs to send 2 volunteers to Lexington School Friday night. 
Last games of the day are responsible for field tear down: PLEASE LEAVE NETS ATTACHED TO CROSSBAR and goal put together.

U8 Divisions: unless a referee signs up to referee your game, both teams are responsible for providing referees for half of the game. 

All other divisions: A NOCRA referee will be assigned to center each game, the home team is responsible to provide two Assistant Referees. If both teams are from Cypress each team will provide one Assistant Referee.

Game Management for Lexington Park:

First game at Lexington Park has to make sure the corner flags are out Saturday morning.
Last game at the park needs to make sure the flags are put away in the shed. Contact the person working in the office to open the gates. Lock code will be opened by Field Marshalls.  Please don’t lose anymore of our corner flags.

A NOCRA referee will be assigned to center each game, the home team is responsible to provide two Assistant Referees. If both teams are from Cypress each team will provide one Assistant Referee. HAVE YOUR REFEREES SIGN UP IN MATCHTRAK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Sideline Seating and Management

Parents sit on half of the sideline, same side as coaches/team half.

Home team sits on the west or north side of the field. Visitors will sit on the opposite side of the half line. 

Parents 'coaching' all the way down the lines, behind the goals and/or on the player's side of the field is not allowed.

Parents need to setup their chairs, tables, umbrellas, blankets, etc. at least 5 feet from the touchline.

No pets are allowed on school grounds.  Please do not bring your pet(s) to the practices or games.

Coaches need to stay within the perimeters of the center circle on their half of the field.  Approximately 8 yards on either side of the halfway line. 

No yelling or arguing with the referees! They are out here, so the kids can play! 

ZERO TOLERANCE  policy towards dissent or abuse towards youth referees.  Be nice to them, they are children who are dedicating themselves to the game they love so more kids can play!
